Some people think that greater appraisal district values means higher property values. That’s not always true! It’s in your best interest to fight for the lowest taxable value. A lower taxable value means lower taxes and not, necessarily lower property values.
Be sure to protest your property taxes before the May 15th deadline. There are professionals available to assist you with this process.
